He commenced his medical career at the University of Miami, earning degrees in Biology and Microbiology, with a minor in foreign languages. After attaining his Doctor of Medicine degree at Howard University, he continued his training in general surgery at Aurora Sinai Medical Center and later ventured into cosmetic surgery.
He started his journey with the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) obtained in three stages from 1995 to 1998.

Otherwise, Dr. Valladares allows BMI up to 37 for procedure combinations like Tummy Tuck with Breast Augmentation, popularly known as Mommy Makeover or A Breast Augmentation with Liposuction, among others.
